Why Yvora

Everything PPWR requires, on every packaging code

The application does the mechanical part - it calculates, generates, archives. And for what cannot be solved mechanically, PPWR consultancy is included in your subscription.

📋

PPWR packaging sheet and recyclability grade

The packaging sheet is the foundation of the entire documentation. You enter the body and the components - material, weight, recycled content, separability - manually or via database import. Yvora calculates the recyclability grade under Art.6 and Annex II, shows you what lowers the score and suggests improvements.

📑

PPWR Technical Documentation – Art. 38 and Annex VII

Generated automatically from the sheet data: description, components, recyclability assessment, recycled content, substances of concern, visual documentation. You upload test reports and supplier data sheets by category, and each one fills in a section. You see the document's completion level in real time.

📄

PPWR Declaration of Conformity – Art. 39 and Annex VIII

The document by which the producer declares that the packaging meets the essential requirements. It is generated in the format required by Art.39, automatically pulls the data from the sheet, can be edited and is archived with version history. The nature of the packaging - single-use or reusable - decides the retention period.

🗃

PPWR archive with the correct legal retention (5 / 10 years)

Every validated declaration becomes a frozen copy, organised by year and packaging code. The retention period is calculated automatically: 5 years for single-use packaging, 10 years for reusables, from the date of the last placing on the market (Art.39). At an inspection, you download the complete file in a single ZIP.

🤝

PPWR consultancy included

The application does the mechanical part; the regulation requires judgement. That is why every subscription includes, annually, hours of PPWR consultancy and documentation review - working hours with a specialist, on your actual packaging. Not a help page, but a person by your side before you sign a declaration or face an inspection.

How it works

From packaging to file, in three steps

1

Enter the packaging

Code, components, materials - manually or via import. Yvora calculates the recyclability grade.

2

Draw up the PPWR technical documentation and declaration of conformity

The PPWR technical documentation (Art. 38 and Annex VII) and the PPWR Declaration of Conformity (Art. 39 and Annex VIII) are produced automatically from the sheet data.

3

Archive and be prepared

Everything is kept on the packaging code, with the legal retention period. At an inspection, you have the file in a single download.

Beyond August

12 August 2026 is not the finish line. It is the starting line.

Yvora develops together with the regulation. New modules enter your subscription as they launch.

12 Aug 2026 - The regulation applies
Technical documentation and Declaration of Conformity become mandatory. PFAS restriction on food-contact packaging. Heavy metals ≤ 100 mg/kg on all packaging.
2027 - Design for Recycling
The design-for-recycling criteria (Art.6) and packaging minimisation (Art.10) enter into force through delegated acts.
12 Aug 2028 - Harmonised labelling

1 Jan 2030 - Recycled content and grade threshold
